We paint walls and ceilings in homes, apartments and villas. It might be a single bedroom that’s looking tired, or every room before you move in. Either way, it’s the same care.
The prep comes with the job
We don’t sell prep as an extra. It’s just part of painting a room. Before any paint goes on your walls, we fill the cracks and holes and sand them smooth. Damp stains get sealed. And where a surface needs primer, it gets primer.
How an interior job runs
It starts with a free site visit. We look at every room you want done and check for cracks, stains and damp. Then we send you a quote, by WhatsApp, email or PDF. You pick.
On day one, the floors go under dust sheets and the furniture gets covered. If you’d like us to move furniture, or take down curtains and pictures, we can. It costs a bit extra, and it’s written into the quote.
Once the prep is done, every wall and ceiling gets two coats. We clean up before we leave each evening, so you can still use the place. At the end, we go round the rooms with you. Then we take the sheets away and hand it all back clean.
Problems we fix inside
Bathroom mould. Black spots in the corners and round the shower are common here. Painting over them doesn’t work, because they grow back through. So we kill the mould first and let the wall dry out. Then we paint with a paint made for wet rooms. A bathroom fan or an open window helps keep it away.
Damp patches. A brown ring on a ceiling or a wall means water got in at some point. If the leak is still there, no paint will stop it, and we’ll tell you so. Once it’s dry and fixed, we seal the stain. Without that, it bleeds back through the new paint in a few weeks.
Cracks. Thin cracks show up in a lot of plaster on the coast. We open them up a little, fill them and sand them flat. Done like that, you can’t see where they were once the paint is on.
Questions people ask us
What does it cost to paint a room?
It depends on the room. Fresh walls in good shape are quick. Walls with cracks, stains or old dark colours take longer. So we need to see it first, and coming to look is free.
Do I have to clear the rooms before you come?
No. We can move the furniture and take down curtains and pictures for you, for an extra cost. Or you can do it yourself and save that part. Either is fine with us.
Will you paint just one room?
Of course. A hallway, a ceiling or a single bedroom is a real job to us. We don’t have a minimum.
Is the work guaranteed?
Yes, for 12 months. If the paint peels or flakes because of how we did the job, we fix it for free. Damp from a leak or rising damp isn’t covered, but we’ll still help you sort it out at a fair price.
